How does it work?

The pure Hyaluronic acid in Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water into the deep skin layers. The stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place due to slow release of hyaluronic acid. This causes significant tissue improvement which then has a tightening/lifting effect on the tissue and boosts the skin without volumizing.

Profhilo typically lasts 6 months.

Profhilo has been around for many years. Its safety profile is excellent and there are many clinical studies to confirm this.

Most people continue with normal activities after treatment. Some people have some mild redness, spottiness, or bruising initially after treatment.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you will not be able to have Profhilo.

A full medical history will be taken at your consultation to make sure you are suitable for treatment.

After treatment it is recommended not to apply makeup or exercise until the following day and to avoid having further treatments such as peels or laser treatments on the treated areas the same day.

It is advised not to have a sauna or steamy bath for a couple of days.

The starting price for Profhilo is £270 [2ml syringe]. Elizabeth will give you an accurate price when you come in for the consultation depending on your needs and what you want to achieve.

An initial course of 3 treatments is advised and then a 3 monthly maintenance treatment is  ideal after that.
